Wood lamps have been popular many times in the past. They are great as single wood projects or in multi-wood projects including segemented.

Lamps can be electric with bulbs, candle based or oil-filled canisters.

They can also be wonderful gifts!!

To guarantee your success, you�ll need a four-jaw chuck and a simple homemade centering mandrel. By inserting this mandrel into the holes bored for the lamp pipe, all the parts will be aligned perfectly when you assemble the lamp. Measures approximately 30" tall with a 5-1/4" wide base.

A confetti oil lamp is simply a turned base that encloses a glass vial of oil into which a wick fits. The flame produced as the oil burns is about equivalent to that produced by a candle, and each lamp burns for a couple of hours before needing to be refilled. That makes these lamps just about right for those romantic evenings with your significant other.
