Ring Holder

Ring holders are easy projects to make and since many people wear rings, they are always popular items. Ring holders can be turned as spindle or faceplate turnings and can be single or multiple woods.

With this open set of parameters, ring holders can take on almost any shape. It's all up to your imagination here!

Woodturning Ring Holder Projects by Robert RosandRing Holder - An elegant gift that's easy to turn by Robert Rosand
In this project, Bob shows how he's taken a concept and adapted it to his style of turning. The project makes a lovely ring holder but I think that the learning is that you don't need to copy someone's work, there are enough various ways to embellish the concept and personalize it to your style of turning.

The photo's in the project show you to hold the work and how to make the important cuts.
