New from Rockler
Wireless Speaker Kit
Rockler has released a wireless speaker kit which includes all of the necessary electronic components to build your own mini wireless speaker. Just build a speaker cabinet (think box or small hollow form) in the shape and material of your choice.
The speaker connects wirelessly to any Bluetooth-enabled device. The kit includes a single full-range speaker, a control pod with on/off button and USB port, and a USB cable, which is used to charge the internal battery.
The only downsides that I've seen are that it works only in mono mode (meaning no stereo) and you can't connect multiple units together.
Here is an example of one of the wood speaker enclosures from the Rockler web site.
The list price is $29.99
