In this video, I will attempt to turn a segmented screw driver from a screw driver kit. Screwdriver Kit I got a new, better camera!
By: Peter Stewart
April 08, 2016 · 729 views

This week I made one of the 4-in-1 screwdrivers with a kit from rockler. I used African Blackwood for the handle and finished it with beeswax and mineral oil. Also, my camera broke last week, so I got a new Go Pro Hero camera...not a sponsor :) Please leave your feedback on video quality down below in the comments. I want to know specifically what you guys think of the audio. Thanks! -------------------------------------------------- Music by: https://soundcloud.com/ben-hedibi/que... --------------------------------------------------------------------- My website: www.peterturnswood.com

Multi-Axis Turning Screwdriver With Ferrule
By: As Wood Turns
May 29, 2014 · 18,763 views

http://www.AsWoodTurns.com A little bit ago, I made a simple handle for a 4-in-1 (actually 6-in-1 but I never use the hex driver). At the time, I noted that eccentric techniques could prevent the screwdriver from rolling easily. Here's the upgrade. I shifted the turning axis 0.25 inch in opposite directions to turn two opposing flatter curves. In addition, I added a ferrule made from a copper plumbing fitting. Per request, I'm also showing how I removed the handle from the store bought screwdriver. Although I doubt that this process is anything to emulate. The wood is a lamination I made sever

May 01, 2014 · 1,938 views

Kick off May with this fun project for all you Doctor Who fans. Anybody can make this easy woodturning project with some scrap lumber. I made mine out of a 2x4 cut in half. I used a sonic screwdriver replica as a reference so I would get all the measurements and proportions correct. My screwdriver is 8 1/2 inches long and i used acrylic paints to paint it.

By: As Wood Turns
April 25, 2014 · 5,282 views

http://www.AsWoodTurns.com I've been on location for remodeling a house in Mesa Arizona. One of the tools I found very useful was an ordinary 4 in 1 screwdriver. In this project, I dress up that screwdriver. It is a very quick, simple project using only a cheap screwdriver from Home Depot. The handle is Padauk finished with beeswax and mineral oil. Enter your email at http://www.AsWoodTurns.com & I'll let you know when the next easy woodturning project video is ready.

This protective project mat is made from heat-resistant, easy-to-clean silicone, meaning wet glue rinses off and dried glue peels off. Use it anywhere you want to protect your work surface or your project, whether in the garage, shop or on the dining room table. Since it's heat-resistant, it works well as a protective barrier for hot glue guns. The material is very soft, and one side has a textured surface to trap debris that could scratch or dent your project.
