DIY WoodKiln, for drying green wood I have turned on my lathe

Made a woodkiln with an Arduino, a relay, a cab heater, a temperature and humidity sensor, a 4 digit LCD display, an old cabinet and some tape. For drying things I turn on my lathe out of green (fresh) wood. If the temperature falls below 30 degrees Celsius, turn the heater on. If the temperature is 30 or above turn the heater be off. Easy peasy. No need to watch the video. All information is in the above sentences. Mic drop, on the foot!

The VT3 kiln kit is aimed at woodturners and other woodworkers requiring timber with a consistent moisture content and who are using shorter pieces and low volume. This kit is just the drying control unit, you will need to construct an insulated kiln box yourself. In terms of the amount of wood you can dry at the same time, it will differ depending on the dimensions of the boards/planks, but if you are drying 50mm thick boards you could dry about 0.5-0.6m of wood in a 1.5m cabinet.
