Weed pots is another name for flower vases. It's often used to help people recognize that you can't put water into a wooden vessel. So, dried flowers (weeds) are used instead.
Now, of course, that doesn't stop the adventurous people who insert glass objects into turning so that they can hold water. I've seen the necks of wine bottles cut off to create suitable water holders and even people using test tubes as bud holders.
