Wooden tea lights are a simple turning project. They are wonderful around the house and are a good replacement for a taper candle. Using the aluminum cup makes the safer than most candles. Type of wood, shapes and sizes can all be suited to what you have or to your style.
I've even seen them with 3 to 5 tea lights in one turning! Now that's something different to think about.

From there, Bob starts his turning making a tenon for his chuck and proceeds to turn a wonderful tea light in a triangle shape with the 3 tips of the design touching, thereby raising the body of the turned piece above the table top.
